Dr. Jill Bachmann is an experienced special education professional with 20 years of experience in education across public schools, charter schools, and correctional education settings. Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse student populations and supported students with a wide range of academic, behavioral, and learning needs.

Dr. Bachmann holds Minnesota teaching licenses in Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and Reading, as well as administrative licenses as a Special Education Director and K–12 Principal. She earned a Master’s degree in Education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.), bringing both extensive classroom experience and strong educational leadership expertise to her work.

Her professional experience includes special education teaching, instructional leadership, program coordination, staff development, due process, IEP development, and collaboration with families and school teams. Her background across traditional public schools, charter schools, and correctional settings has provided her with a broad understanding of the educational system and the unique challenges families and students may encounter.

Dr. Bachmann is passionate about helping students with disabilities receive the services, supports, and educational opportunities they are entitled to while helping families feel informed, confident, and empowered throughout the special education process.

I’ll carefully review your child’s IEP or evaluation and help you understand what it means.

Ongoing support when you need it, via email and phone communications.

• Preparing for meetings
• Understanding school recommendations
• Communicating effectively with your child’s team
• Navigating challenges as they come up

$350 (up to 2 hours)
You don’t have to walk into meetings alone.

Includes:

• Pre-meeting preparation
• Attendance at your IEP meeting (virtual or in-person*)
• Support during the meeting
• Follow-up summary and guidance

Travel may include a small additional fee

For families who want consistent support from start to finish.  Mediation and due process hearings are an additional fee.
